The purpose of the project definition phase is to better understand how a customer does business today, wants to do business in the future and to identify any significant gaps between JustMetalsERP and the company's current and/or desired processes.
This phase is conducted through Discovery Sessions involving key user interviews, and plant tours. The output of the Project Definition phase includes:
- Business Flows and Event documentation
- Implementation Plan
- Project Charter
- Key Concepts presentation
The purpose of this phase is to take the business events and strategy defined during the project definition, translating it into a working system and processes that meet the customer's objectives. This phase involves a number of steps including:
- Core Team Training - Provide the core team with enough application knowledge in order to participate in the review of the Business Events.
- Setup and Configuration - Begin set up and configuring the test system with real data and to finalize reports or any modifications that have been approved.
- Test Script and Procedure Writing - Develop test scenarios and procedures to help end-users in a go-live environment.
- Pilot Testing - Ensure that any modifications, integrations, set ups and configurations completed up to this point in the project work as expected.
- End User Testing - Ensure that the users of the system are adequately trained.
- Go-Live Support - Provide customers with a plan to support the first month of go-live before project close out.
JustMetalsERP's Customer Care program provides full application support following project go-live. Customer Care is part of JustMetalsERP's enhancement program. Customers have unlimited access to toll free support. All support calls are documented and logged. Severity definition helps to determine escalation and response time commitments.
All support tickets are tracked via email from first call to resolution to ensure issues are documented and tracked each step of the way.
